Check arithmetic task cards before printing
A computed answer key catches arithmetic errors. It cannot decide whether the resource fits your learners or teaching sequence.

Synthetic card: 14 − 5 = 9. Contrast: 5 − 14 = −9. Both calculations are correct, but the second may be outside the intended scope.
- Choose an objective that matches every equation. Review the largest operands and answers, not only the first card.
- Open the student pages and answer key separately. Check that numbering and equations match, especially after editing.
- Print one page at actual size. Check writing space, contrast and whether card borders are visible in grayscale.
- Edit equations in the workspace and export again to recalculate the key. Editing the downloaded HTML does not recalculate answers automatically.
